Who You'll Work With
Cherokee County Tree Co. is a crew of four based in Jacksonville, Texas, and we like it that way. The person who looks at your tree is usually the person who takes it down, and the person who answers the phone knows what's on the schedule that week.
Owner & Climber
Wade grew up in Rusk and spent eight seasons on a utility line-clearance crew across Cherokee and Smith counties before starting the company in 2016 with one bucket truck and a chipper. He still climbs, still runs the technical takedowns beside houses and lines, and still looks at most jobs himself before they go on the calendar.
Estimates & Scheduling
Reyna is usually the first voice you'll hear when you call. She sets up the estimate visit, gets the written price to you, and keeps the schedule straight during storm season, when the calls come in faster than the crew can get to them. If you need to know when the truck is coming, she's the one who knows.
Crew Lead & Equipment
Colt runs the equipment: the bucket truck, the chipper, the stump grinder, and the skid steer on clearing jobs. On a removal near a structure he sets the rigging and runs the ground while Wade or Marcus is in the tree, and he's the reason the yard is clean when the truck pulls out.
Climber / Groundman
Marcus climbs the trees the bucket can't reach — the tall pines in the back corner of a lot, the oaks over a fence line — and works the ground on everything else: rope work, sectioning trunks, feeding the chipper, and hauling brush.
