Storm and emergency jobs, where a tree is already down or leaning on a structure or a line, do not follow the size-based ranges above. Cherokee County gets its share: the East Texas severe-storm season runs March through May with a second run in the fall, and an ice storm comes through every few winters and loads the hardwood limbs. Before You Start
