Serving Berryville, Texas
Berryville sits on the west shore of Lake Palestine along SH-155, about 15 miles from Jacksonville.
Local & Insured
Berryville is a lake town of about 820 people in the southeast corner of Henderson County, Texas, on the western shore of Lake Palestine on both sides of Cobb Inlet. State Highway 155 runs through it, with Frankston two miles south, and it is about fifteen miles from our shop in Jacksonville. Berryville is in Frankston ISD. Nearly every tree job here is a lake-lot job: narrow, sloping parcels that run from the road down to the water, with pines and water oaks that have grown tall reaching for light over the shoreline and now lean toward a dock, a boathouse or the neighbor's roof. There is often no room to drop anything, and the ground near the water is soft, so we rig trees down in pieces and keep equipment on the driveway. Storm season on the lake comes in hard off open water, and we plan removals here with that wind exposure in mind.

Lake-lot removals, stump grinding at the waterline, and lot clearing for new builds. Tree removal is the job we do most in Berryville; stump grinding, tree trimming and land clearing ride on the same truck, with the same insured crew and the same East Texas price ranges you will find on every page of this site.

Why a Jacksonville Crew Comes to Berryville
Berryville lots fall from SH-155 to the water, and a tree at the bottom cannot be felled uphill. We rig it down in sections from a climber or the bucket and carry the wood up rather than driving on soft shoreline ground.
Lakefront trees lean over the things people care most about. We set drop zones to protect docks, lifts and boathouses, and we talk to the neighbor before a limb crosses a property line.
Trees on the Lake Palestine shore take wind that inland trees never see. Before storm season we look at lean, canopy weight and root soundness, and we take out the ones that will not make it through another spring.
Berryville is the far corner of Henderson County, but it is a fifteen-mile run for us and we price it like Jacksonville. No trip charge, no different rate card.
Not on private property. Cherokee, Smith, Anderson and Henderson counties have no county tree rules, and none of the towns we serve publishes a tree-removal permit requirement. Jacksonville's own code only asks that nothing overhang a public street below 12 feet, and we handle that clearance as part of the job. If your tree touches a city street or alley in Berryville, we will suggest a quick call to the city office first. Details are on our permits page.
For a hanging limb or a tree on a roof, call (903) 555-0147 and we will give you a same-day or next-day answer. For a routine removal, Reyna usually books the estimate within a few days and the work within a week or two, depending on the season. Spring storm season (March through May) is our busiest stretch.
If a tree on your Berryville lake lot needs to come down, call or request a free estimate. Every estimate is written, free, and given in person by a crew that answers the phone.
